PYROLYSIS PLANT OPERATION MANAGER

We are seeking an Operations Manager with strong background in mechanical operations, and administrative skills for our plant in Ipoh, Perak. The successful candidate will play a key role in the execution, management, and oversight of our pyrolysis technology.

Responsibilities:

·        Oversea and manage the operation and maintenance of the pyrolysis plant, ensuring optimal performance and minimize downtime.

·        Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

·        Appropriately allocate resources such as raw materials, labor, and machinery to maximize production efficiency.

·        Monitor and control the quality and weight of produced goods to ensure they meet established standards.

·        Ensure correct storage of production on site and conduct regular stocktakes.

·        Ensure that the pyrolysis plant complies with environmental regulations and standards, managing waste and emissions appropriately.

·        Oversee administrative task, approving staff hours/shifts for payroll, and ensuring safety regulations are met.

·        Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and solve operational issues.

·        Manage the plant’s budget, cost control, and financial planning to ensure economic efficiency and profitability.

·        Ensure compliance with internal systems, specifications, and standardization.

Qualifications:

·        Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management or related field.

·        3+ years of experience in pyrolysis plant operation and management

·        Proven experience with Pyrolysis/carbonisation technology

·        Proven experience with process/gas systems, and structural steel.

·        Proficient in written and verbal communication.

·        Ability to deliver on time.

Desirable:

·        Experience in oil and gas industry

·        Qualification with Certified Environmental Professional in Scrubber Operation (CePSO)

·        Qualification with Certified Environmental Professional in Schedules Waste (CePSWaM)
