Title: Python & AI Solutions Developer

Location: NY, NY Duration: 6 months with possible extension Compensation: $85/hr Work Requirements: U.S. Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python & AI Solutions Developer to support AI, automation, analytics, and technology transformation initiatives within a Credit Review and risk-focused financial services environment.

This role will focus on enhancing and scaling existing AI and automation solutions, developing data and document-processing capabilities, and expanding technology-enabled workflows across lending portfolios, credit review processes, and broader risk use cases.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on technical experience with Python, AI/LLMs, automation, and data processing, along with the ability to translate credit risk and business requirements into scalable, traceable, and auditable solutions. Experience deploying technology within regulated financial services, credit risk, or internal audit environments is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance, scale, and support existing AI and automation solutions used within credit review workflows.
• Extend automation frameworks across additional lending portfolios, risk processes, and business use cases.
• Develop Python-based applications, scripts, and automation solutions capable of processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Build and maintain document ingestion, data extraction, and analysis pipelines across PDFs, images, spreadsheets, and other file formats.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) using OpenAI APIs and related technologies to support workflow automation, document analysis, and data processing.
• Design solutions that generate structured, traceable, and auditable outputs appropriate for governance, reporting, and review.
• Partner with Credit Review, risk, and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Help drive broader AI, automation, analytics, and process transformation initiatives within a Credit Review environment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on solution design, scalability, implementation, and governance within a regulated environment.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience developing applications, automation solutions, or data-processing workflows using Python.
• Experience building or implementing solutions utilizing AI, machine learning, generative AI, or large language models.
• Experience working with OpenAI APIs or similar LLM technologies and integrating them into business applications or workflows.
• Experience designing solutions that process both structured and unstructured data, including documents and large datasets.
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying scalable AI or automation solutions within a regulated environment.
• Ability to translate business, credit review, and risk requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical, business, and risk teams.
• Ability to operate at a Manager level, balancing hands-on technical execution with solution ownership and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing Alteryx workflows and ETL processes.
• Experience with Power BI, dashboard modernization, or reporting automation.
• Familiarity with financial services, credit risk, credit review, risk management, internal audit, lending, or related environments.
• Experience supporting technology transformation or automation initiatives within a financial institution or other highly regulated organization.
• Understanding of governance, controls, auditability, and documentation expectations associated with technology solutions used in risk environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate can bridge credit risk and technology . They should be comfortable getting hands-on with Python, AI/LLM integrations, data processing, document ingestion, and automation while working directly with Credit Review and business stakeholders.

This person should understand how technology can improve the efficiency, scalability, consistency, and auditability of credit review processes across lending portfolios while operating within the governance expectations of a regulated financial institution.
