Python and Database Developer - Chennai/Bengaluru/Gurugram/Pune

Job Summary

• Skilled and detail-oriented Database Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize databases that support business applications and reporting requirements.
• Must have experience in Big Data related technical skills like Python, Hive, Trino etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and database objects such as tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for application and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration from multiple sources.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Create and maintain database documentation, including data models, schemas, and technical specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in database development.3+ Years of experience in Python Development.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming, Data Structures and Algorithms

• Strong proficiency in SQL and database programming.

• Experience with relational database management systems such as:

• Oracle Database

• MySQL

• Hive

• Trino

• Knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.

• Experience with stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.

• Query Optimization & Performance Tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Database platform like Python, Oracle , My Sql, Maria DB etc.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
