Job Description

R Systems is seeking an experienced Python & Django Lead Architect to design and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The role requires strong expertise in Python, Django, Django REST Framework, ORM, Celery, solution architecture, system design, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable application architectures using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Architect RESTful APIs, microservices, and database solutions.
• Leverage Django ORM for efficient data modeling, complex queries, and database optimization.
• Implement asynchronous task processing and background jobs using Celery with Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Mentor development teams and establish engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Python, Django, Django REST Framework, and Django ORM.
• Hands-on experience with Celery, task queues, asynchronous processing, and task scheduling.
• Knowledge of Celery workers, brokers, retries, periodic tasks, and failure handling.
• Experience in solution architecture, system design, and scalable backend development.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL, database schema design, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Redis/RabbitMQ, microservices, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, application security, and performance monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
