Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled API Developer (Backend Developer) with strong expertise in Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate should have experience in building microservices, RESTful APIs, cloud-native applications, and integrating enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python.
• Build scalable and secure microservices-based applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models.
• Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise applications.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend and API-related issues.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, JWT, and API Security.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API Gateway and API Management platforms.
• Exposure to GenAI/AI integrations.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices.
• Cloud certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
