Python Application Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Python Analytics Dashboard & Application Developer with 4-5 years of combined experience in data analytics and full-stack dashboard development. In this role, you will design, build, and scale interactive web applications on Databricks Apps using Python frameworks (Dash, Streamlit) or Node.js (React). The ideal candidate has an elite eye for data visualization best practices, strong data writeback design patterns, and solid SQL capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design and develop clean, intuitive multi-page web applications and interactive dashboards deployed directly on Databricks Apps.
• Visualizations & Charting: Build custom interactive charts, KPI cards, drill-downs, and scatter plots using Plotly or equivalent JavaScript charting libraries (D3.js, Chart.js).
• UI & Layout Design: Apply component frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap) to build custom web forms, editable tables, navigation bars, and styled modals.
• Data Writeback & Audit: Implement resilient data writeback patterns (INSERT/MERGE/UPSERT) to Databricks Delta tables with robust audit trails capturing timestamps and user changes.
• Data Engineering Integration: Perform light data wrangling within the application tier using Pandas, connecting smoothly to Databricks SQL Warehouses via connection strings or SDKs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of combined experience in data analytics and interactive web dashboard development using Python and/or JavaScript.
• Proven track record building multi-page applications, handling complex callbacks, and managing states within Streamlit, Plotly Dash, or React.
• Elite command over SQLspecifically writing read, write, and aggregation queries against relational or cloud warehouse architectures.
• Hands-on familiarity with the Databricks ecosystem, delta table versioning properties, and application configurations using app.yaml structures.
• Strong foundational CSS skills to create polished, high-fidelity responsive corporate layouts.
• Preferred Experience: Prior exposure to Azure Databricks specifically, TypeScript implementation, or enterprise BI toolsets (Power BI, Tableau).
