Python / Asset Management / Data Governance Analyst 3–7 Years

Summary –

We are looking for an experienced Python / Data Analytics professional to join the data analytics and financial services team of a leading global organization. The role will involve working on Python-based data analytics, data quality, data governance and asset management datasets, with a strong focus on delivering accurate and scalable data solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Pandas, NumPy and SQL, along with experience in Asset Management or Data Governance / Data Quality. Exposure to Investment Banking, Financial Services, Private Markets or Investment Management will be highly relevant.

Responsibilities –

1. Develop and maintain data analytics solutions using Python, Pandas and NumPy for large and complex datasets.
2. Perform data extraction, transformation, analysis and validation using SQL and Python.
3. Work with Asset Management / Investment Management / Financial Services datasets and business processes.
4. Build and implement data quality, data validation and data governance frameworks to identify and resolve data issues.
5. Collaborate with business, analytics and technology stakeholders to improve data accuracy, reporting and operational efficiency.

Requirements –

1. 3–7 years of relevant experience in Python-based data analytics, data management or financial analytics.
2. Strong hands-on experience in Python, specifically Pandas and NumPy.
3. Good proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
4. Experience in either Asset Management / Investment Management or Data Governance / Data Quality is required.
5. Exposure to Investment Banking, Private Markets, Financial Services, Power BI, data controls, data lineage or data validation will be an added advantage.
