About the Role

We are looking for a Python Automation Developer to design, build, and maintain automation solutions that streamline business processes and reduce manual effort. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver reliable, scalable scripts and tools in a fully remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Python.
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes across multiple systems.
• Build integrations with internal and third-party systems using REST APIs.
• Develop web and UI automation using tools such as Selenium or Playwright where required.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot automated jobs to keep them running reliably.
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented code, with unit tests and proper error handling and logging.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow version control and CI/CD best practices.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development, with a strong focus on automation.
• Strong working knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas, Requests, and OpenPyXL.
• Experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and data formats such as CSV and Excel.
• Experience handling authentication in automation scripts (OAuth 2.0, API tokens, SSO) and managing credentials securely using vaults or environment variables.
• Good knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with job scheduling tools (cron, Windows Task Scheduler, or Airflow).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Exposure to retail or supply chain domain processes.
• Experience with Linux/shell scripting.
