Python Automation Tester(TestComplete Experience mandatory)

Role Description The Python Automation Tester (with mandatory TestComplete experience) is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks and scripts. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and validating APIs and workflows across different environments. The role requires using Python and TestComplete to build robust automation suites, analyzing test results, and reporting issues with clear documentation. The tester will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other quality assurance professionals to refine requirements, ensure test coverage, and improve overall software quality. The position also involves contributing to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and recommending enhancements to testing tools and practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Quality Assurance skills, including understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Experience in Manual Testing and creation of detailed Test Cases for functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Hands-on expertise in API Testing, including validating endpoints, payloads, and responses using appropriate tools.
• Proficient in Automation, with solid Python programming skills and mandatory experience using TestComplete for test automation.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document test results and defects clearly.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
