Python Data Engineer (all genders)

As a Python Data Engineer (all genders), you will work in a motivated team on developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, automating data processing, and creating tools that make large-scale data more accessible and easier to analyze.

What awaits you

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python
• Work with large datasets using Databricks and Spark
• Build intelligent retrieval and reasoning pipelines (e.g., RAG, agentic workflows)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/GitHub, including Declarative Automation Bundles for managing infrastructure in Databricks

What we expect from you

• Personal background: A degree in the field of (business) informatics, comparable courses of study or trainings. You have a qualification as Data Engineer or Python developer
• Expertise : You have initial experience of Databricks - Knowledge of Unity Catalog, Delta Lake concept, and Declarative Automation Bundles. You are familiar with PySpark (Python API for Apache Spark) and SQL. Version control with Git is essential
• AI Know-how: Experience designing AI systems for data analysis is a plus
• Mindset : You are solution- and service-oriented, reliable, responsible for actions and enjoy a teamwork
