Our Tech Apprenticeship Program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring IT professionals to gain real-world experience and develop valuable skills. This hands-on program provides on-the-job training and mentorship, allowing you to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and maintenance of Python-based applications, including web applications, scripts, and data analysis tools.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of software solutions using Python and related technologies.
• Develop and implement well-documented, efficient, and maintainable Python code.
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders on software projects.
• Stay updated on the latest Python libraries, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., Django, Flask, Pandas, NumPy).
• Conduct research and explore new technologies and solutions within the Python ecosystem.
• Participate in internal training sessions and workshops to enhance your Python programming skills.
• Conduct unit tests and participate in integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Identify and report bugs and issues.
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software applications
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may include research, documentation, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming).
• Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for learning and a strong work ethic.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
