Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in the Django framework to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend development, database design, REST API development, and cloud-based deployments while adhering to best coding practices and software development standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Build reusable, efficient, and secure backend services.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with ORM concepts and database optimization.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.
• Understanding of caching mechanisms and performance tuning.
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or JavaScript.

Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience building enterprise-grade web applications and APIs.
