Python Developer

We are seeking a Python Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable data-driven applications and near real-time data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, MongoDB, and streaming technologies such as Kafka, along with experience in cloud environments, containerization, and modern software engineering practices.

This role is well-suited for a developer who has worked with large datasets, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems while delivering high-quality, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Python.
• Build and optimize near real-time data pipelines and streaming solutions using Kafka or similar technologies.
• Design, implement, and manage MongoDB databases, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain ETL/data processing workflows for large-scale datasets.
• Write efficient SQL queries and support data integration across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement containerized applications using Docker and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and promote Test-Driven Development (TDD) best practices.
• Support cloud-based deployments and infrastructure in AWS environments.
• Explore and contribute to AI-enabled applications and data-driven solutions where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database design.
• Experience implementing Kafka or similar event streaming/messaging platforms for near real-time data processing.
• Proven experience working with large-scale data pipelines and high-volume datasets.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Amazon Redshift.
• Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based application deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and TDD methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts and distributed systems architecture.
• Exposure to AI/ML application development and related frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.
