As a Senior Python Developer , you will join a global team responsible for developing and enhancing reporting and analytical applications used to identify trading-related risks, anomalies, and potential fraud scenarios. You will work closely with Compliance, Risk, and Business stakeholders while taking ownership of end-to-end development tasks, from gathering requirements to designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions.

Key responsibilities and technology focus:

• Design, develop, and enhance Python-based reporting and analytical applications
• Build new reports and business solutions from scratch while continuously improving existing tools
• Develop scalable and maintainable software solutions aligned with evolving compliance and risk management requirements
• Work with large datasets and develop data processing logic supporting fraud and risk detection activities
• Participate in application troubleshooting, debugging, optimization, and production support
• Ensure high-quality, well-structured, and maintainable code through best engineering practices
• Contribute to technical discussions and continuously improve existing development processes
• Work within a global team primarily based across Europe and the United States (normal working hours)

What you'll need to succeed:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on Python development experience in complex business environments
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean code practices
• Experience designing and implementing business-critical applications or reporting solutions
• Strong problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills
• Ability to independently analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience with data processing and manipulation in Python
• Fluent English communication skills
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with Pandas
• Previous experience in Data Engineering
• Experience with Java and/or C++
• Exposure to risk, compliance, fraud detection, financial services, or trading-related environments
