Role: Python Developer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: December 31, 2027 (with a possibility of extension)

Work Schedule : 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Work Hours: 3:30am-11:30am ET

Location : Hybrid - 3x Days onsite in Pune, India

Role Summary

We are looking for a Python Developer with strong experience in Python, Django, SQL, and enterprise application integrations. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain scalable applications, optimize database performance, build API integrations, and support DevOps practices. Experience integrating Generative AI capabilities, including GPT models, embeddings, and AI agents, is also required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using Python and Django.
• Build and integrate REST APIs, SOAP services, and WSDL-based web services.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, database structures, and application data-access logic.
• Implement data mappings and transformations based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain user interface components using CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, or related frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities, including GPT models, embeddings, prompt engineering, and agent-based solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve application quality and follow engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience developing applications using Python and Django.
• 3–5 years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries and working with databases.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience implementing Generative AI technologies, including GPT models, embeddings, and agent-based solutions.
• 1–2 years of experience with Angular or related frontend technologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, WSDL-based integrations, and enterprise application development.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.
• Understanding of data mapping, data transformation, and application integration concepts.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Django application architecture and enterprise integrations.
• Frontend technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, or jQuery.
• Generative AI integration, prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI agents.
• Modern DevOps and software delivery practices.

Work Arrangement

Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid model with 3 days onsite per week in Pune, India
