Python Developer (FastAPI, Azure)

We are looking for a Python Developer with strong experience in FastAPI, Azure, and microservices to join a project in the Energy Trading & Risk Management area, focused on developing scalable services for capturing, validating, enriching, and managing procurement requests and integrating them with pricing, forecasting, and downstream systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Python microservices and REST APIs using FastAPI.
• Implement complex data validation, transformation, enrichment, and processing
• Develop integrations with internal/external systems using Azure services, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and APIs.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical solutions, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ensuring scalability and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Python, FastAPI, and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience in REST API development and integration with internal/external systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, ideally including Azure Key Vault and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL and/or Snowflake.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ and event-driven architectures.
