Stipend:

• Day Shift: LKR 20,000/month
• Night Shift: LKR 25,000/month
• Out-District Candidates: Stip-end + Accommodation will be provided

Potential Full-Time Salary: Up to LKR 100,000/month

Conversion Opportunity: High intent to convert to full-time based on performance

Reporting To: Senior Software Developer / Tech Lead

Role Summary

Join Teceze’s Software Development team as a Python Development Intern and gain hands-on experience in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using Python. You’ll work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced developers, and contribute to building reliable, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining Python-based applications and software solutions .
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code following best practices.
• Assist with developing APIs, backend services, and application features .
• Collaborate with developers and team members to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and code reviews .
• Work with databases and assist in writing queries and integrating applications with databases.
• Use Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining technical documentation .
• Stay updated with Python libraries, frameworks, tools, and emerging technologies.

• Practical experience in Python development and backend programming .

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field .
• Good understanding of Python programming fundamentals .
• Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) .
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles .
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab is a plus.
• Good communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior academic projects, personal projects, or internship experience using Python is an advantage.
