Python Developer – Monitoring & Automation

About the Role: We are looking for a Python Developer to join our IT Systems Monitoring Team. Our team is responsible for implementing full-stack monitoring across all business systems. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for developing self-healing scripts for monitoring alerts. You will analyze current alerting mechanisms, design automated remediation solutions, and integrate with business and ITSM systems to ensure operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Self-Healing Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain Python-based self-healing scripts to automatically resolve recurring monitoring alerts and reduce manual intervention.

· System Integration: Integrate with business systems and ITSM platforms to programmatically retrieve data, extract alert details, and execute remediation workflows.

· Remediation Validation: Implement logic to evaluate the success or failure of automated self-healing actions.

· Escalation Workflow: Develop automated notification mechanisms to escalate unresolved issues to the Level 1 Monitoring Service Desk for manual follow-up when self-healing fails.

· Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the monitoring team to analyze current alerting strategies and continuously optimize self-healing solutions.

Required Qualifications:

· 1-3 years of professional Python development experience.

· Strong proficiency in Python scripting and automation.

· Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, system integration, and interacting with ITSM platforms.

· Solid understanding of IT operations, monitoring concepts, and incident management workflows.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write robust, error-handling code.

· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively in a Chinese-speaking work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Familiarity with common IT monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Datadog).

· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

· Basic knowledge of Linux system administration and networking.

· Prior experience with UiPath or other RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools is highly preferred.

Familiarity with commonly used AI tools and a solid understanding of AI Agent concepts, workflows, and related technologies.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
