Our challenge:

We are seeking a skilled Python Full stack Developer with strong experience in modern frontend development using React or Angular . The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications while building scalable backend services and APIs using Python.

The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing, and user-friendly applications.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with applicable laws, the expected base salary range for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $120K - $130K/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React or Angular .
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python .
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and designs into functional applications.
• Develop reusable frontend components and maintain consistent user interface standards.
• Implement application functionality using modern JavaScript or TypeScript practices.
• Integrate frontend applications with Python-based backend services.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for frontend and backend applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and development standards.
• Stay current with emerging frontend, Python, cloud, and software development technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python .
• Strong experience with at least one modern frontend framework:
• React
• Angular
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with frontend state management, reusable components, and responsive design.
• Knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI .
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both React and Angular .
• Experience with TypeScript, Redux, NgRx, React Hooks, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Django REST Framework or FastAPI.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and web application security.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, PyTest, or unittest.
• Experience working in financial services, banking, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
