BLS Solutions is looking for a motivated and talented Python Intern to join our development team. This is a 3-month paid internship with the potential to convert into a full-time position based on performance, technical skills, and overall contribution.

The selected candidate will work on real-world projects involving Python, APIs, web applications, and backend development, while gaining hands-on experience in a professional software development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and backend features.
• Work with APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Assist in developing and integrating AI/ML-based features.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Work with relational databases and perform basic database operations.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Learn and work with new technologies as required by projects.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
• Basic understanding of web application development and how web applications work.
• Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, HTTP requests, and backend concepts.
• Understanding of basic software development practices, including debugging, version control, and writing maintainable code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
