Role Overview

As a Python Intern, you will support Cornixe's technology initiatives by writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining Python code. You will work on programming tasks, develop scripts and applications, automate repetitive processes, handle data, and collaborate with team members to build efficient and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, readable, and maintainable Python code to solve practical programming problems.
• Develop Python scripts, utilities, and small applications based on project requirements.
• Assist in automating repetitive tasks and improving workflow efficiency using Python.
• Work with Python libraries and modules to implement application features.
• Perform basic data processing, file handling, and data manipulation using Python.
• Work with data formats such as CSV, JSON, and Excel files.
• Assist in integrating APIs and handling data from external services.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, SQLite, or PostgreSQL to store and retrieve information.
• Identify, debug, and resolve errors in existing code.
• Write and execute basic unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Apply fundamental programming concepts, including functions, loops, conditional statements, and object-oriented programming.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
• Collaborate with team members to understand technical requirements and implement suitable solutions.
• Document code, development workflows, and project findings clearly.
• Research Python libraries, frameworks, tools, and emerging development practices.
• Assist in developing practical projects that demonstrate Python programming skills.

• Students pursuing UG/PG studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Freshers interested in building a career in Python development, software engineering, automation, or data analytics.
• Candidates with basic knowledge of Python programming and fundamental coding concepts.
• Familiarity with variables, data types, loops, functions, lists, dictionaries, and file handling is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or Requests is beneficial.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Flask or Django is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, Git, and GitHub is welcome.

• No prior professional experience is required.
