We're looking for an experienced Python Platform Engineer to join an enterprise engineering programme, developing scalable applications and automated deployment solutions within a cloud environment.

This position combines hands-on Python development with platform engineering, DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Python-based applications and platform services.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Develop reliable APIs and integrations within cloud environments.
• Support application infrastructure, performance and high availability.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to improve software delivery.

✅ Required Experience:

• Strong commercial Python development experience.
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment.
• Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development.
• Experience with FastAPI and REST APIs.
• Understanding of Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Application architecture, code quality and development best practices.
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
