Python Software Developer-AWS

Qualifications:

We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, the successful candidate should have:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and backend services.
• Proficiency in C# with solid understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, microservices, and ASP.NET Core or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, and cloud-native development (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab Runners) and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of fixed-income products, trading workflows, or portfolio accounting (a plus but not required).
• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using React, C#/Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQL.
• Implement scalable APIs and microservices to support portfolio management and trading workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver new features, enhancements, and integrations.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments using AWS, Docker, and Terraform.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Continuously learn and adopt emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies.
