Python Software Developer

Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled Python & C++ Developer with experience in developing plugins, extensions, or custom applications for CAD/BIM platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing custom plugins and integrations for ALLPLAN, working closely with the project team to understand requirements and deliver highquality software solutions. Experience with ALLPLAN APIs/SDKs is preferred. Candidates with strong experience in Python & C++ development and other CAD/BIM platforms are also encouraged to apply. .

Responsibilities: Detailed description of role that candidate is expected to perform.

• Develop custom plugins, add-ons, and extensions for the ALLPLAN platform.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python & C++ applications and modules.

• Integrate custom functionalities with ALLPLAN APIs, SDKs, and existing workflows.

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and convert them into efficient software solutions.

• Develop automation tools to improve CAD/BIM modeling and design workflows.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software and integration issues.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and software development teams.

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions.

• Support deployment, testing, and maintenance of developed plugins. Required Skills/Abilities: Detailed description of abilities and skills candidate need to have.

• Strong proficiency in Python & C++ programming.

Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

• Experience in software design, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of developing plugins, add-ins, extensions, or desktop applications.

• Understanding of CAD/BIM software architecture and workflows.

• Experience working with APIs and SDKs.

• Knowledge of Visual Studio and modern Python & C++ development practices.

• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ALLPLAN APIs/SDKs and plugin development.

• Experience with CAD/BIM platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, STAND Pro, RSTAB, MicroStation, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of Python , C# or other scripting/programming languages.

• Experience with geometry, graphics programming, or 3D modelling concepts.

• Understanding of design automation and engineering workflows.

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment. Experience
