Python SRE Engineer

Role: Python SRE Engineer - W2 Contract Location - Remote **W2

Experience: Relevant experience in SRE / Production Support** Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain large-scale, service-oriented production systems
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance using observability tools
• Review and triage production tickets and incidents
• Perform routine root cause analysis (RCA) and data collection
• Tune alerts, alarms, and thresholds to improve system reliability and availability
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve system stability

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience with Linux usage and administration
• Knowledge of basic data structures and search/sort algorithms
• Hands-on experience with REST-based services and APIs
• Familiarity with cloud computing and networking concepts
• Experience with Grafana, MQL, or equivalent cloud monitoring/telemetry tools
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and SQL/C++ is a plus
