Job Description: Python Technical Lead Data Analysis & SQL

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Technical Lead with strong expertise in Data Analysis, Advanced SQL, and Data Quality Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions, ensuring data accuracy, and driving best practices across the data ecosystem. Experience with Google BigQuery and cloud-based data platforms will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and developers.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing and analysis.
• Utilize BigQuery for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting.
• Perform data quality checks, validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple systems.
• Drive performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and data workflows.
• Support data warehouse and data lake initiatives.
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical leadership for data projects.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.
• Advanced expertise in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery (preferred).
• Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration processes.
• Understanding of data warehousing and data lake architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Working experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
