Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The role involves analyzing requirements, preparing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with developers, Business Analysts, and project teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Review business and system requirements to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Work with developers and technical teams to investigate and resolve defects.
• Ensure applications meet business requirements and expected functionality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain test documentation, test results, defect reports, and traceability records.
• Support testing during system releases, deployments, and production validation.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes, test coverage, and software quality.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, Project Managers, Product Owners, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Analysis.
• Strong experience in manual testing and test case development.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall environments.
• Willing to work full onsite in BGC, Taguig.
