QA Analyst w/FR

At act digital , we are recruiting a QA Analyst to join our client's Agile delivery team supporting international banking and compliance initiatives. In this role, you will take ownership of the testing lifecycle from early sprint definition to final delivery.

🌟 What you will do:

• Quality Ownership: Drive test design and execution (functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing) for new compliance features.
• API Testing & Automation: Write and execute test cases for APIs using Postman/Swagger , and contribute to automated testing pipelines ( Selenium, Cucumber, Katalon, or Karate ).
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and define clear acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Defect Management & Diagnostics: Identify, log, and track defects in Jira/Confluence , collaborating directly with development teams to ensure quick resolution.
• Data Validation: Execute SQL queries to validate backend database states and test data integrity.
• CI/CD Integration: Work within modern DevOps pipelines using Git and Jenkins .

🎯 What we are looking for:

• Experience: Proven track record in functional QA, test planning, and API testing.
• Technical Stack: Strong experience with API Testing tools (Postman, Swagger), SQL , and test management in Jira/Confluence .
• Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with test automation frameworks ( Cucumber, Selenium, Karate, Katalon ).
• CI/CD & DevOps: Basic to intermediate understanding of Git and Jenkins integration.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience with Banking IT Systems or Compliance functional areas is a strong plus.
• Languages: Fluent in English and French (B2 minimum) .
