QA/QC Civil Engineer – Data Centre Project

📍 Location: Project Site – Near Mega Bangna

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and quality control plans for civil and architectural works.
• Monitor and inspect civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Prepare and review ITP, Method Statements, Inspection Checklists, Inspection Requests, NCRs, and other QA/QC documentation.
• Conduct site inspections for civil and architectural works, including concrete, rebar, formwork, structural works, masonry, waterproofing, finishing, and external works.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, material submittals, and related documents.
• Coordinate inspections and quality-related matters with the Client, Consultant, Main Contractor, Subcontractors, and Project Team.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship delivered to the project site.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant teams.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure works are executed according to approved quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and project documentation.
• Participate in testing, inspections, snagging, punch lists, and project handover activities.
• Support the project team in resolving technical and quality issues.
• Ensure civil and architectural works comply with applicable standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC Civil / Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in Data Centre, Industrial, Commercial, Infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, inspection, and quality control.
• Experience with concrete, reinforcement, formwork, structural works, waterproofing, architectural finishes, and external works.
• Strong experience in QA/QC documentation, including ITP, Method Statement, Checklist, Inspection Request, NCR, and Quality Reports.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with Consultants, Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractors.
• Good English communication skills for coordination in an international project environment.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and under project deadlines.
• Willing to work full-time on-site in Thailand.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in Data Centre Projects is highly preferred.
• Experience working with international Clients, Consultants, or Contractors.
• Experience with large-scale / mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of international construction standards and quality requirements.
• Experience with concrete testing, material inspection, and structural quality control.
• Experience working with multinational or Chinese project teams is an advantage.
