Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and other relevant technologies.
• Design comprehensive test cases and scripts for functional, regression, performance, load, system, and user acceptance testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Execute automated tests on various operating systems including Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS to validate mobile applications and web services.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps (TFS), and version control systems such as Git or SVN to enable continuous testing workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects identified during testing phases; collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues related to APIs, databases (MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), or system configurations.
• Conduct performance testing using LoadRunner or similar tools; analyze results to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
• Support requirements gathering by translating business needs into effective test plans and automation strategies aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software quality assurance within IT environments with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for scripting automated tests.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools including Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit/Cucumber frameworks; familiarity with Appium for mobile testing is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of API testing using RESTful services (Postman or similar tools), SOAP web services, and related protocols like JSON and XML.
• Strong understanding of databases such as MySQL, Oracle (PL/SQL), SQL Server (T-SQL), and JDBC for data validation during testing processes.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban; familiarity with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Ability to perform system troubleshooting; excellent analytical skills for data analysis and identifying root causes of issues.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN; experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms including UI/UX validation; experience with Appium or similar frameworks is preferred.

Pay: $56,300.00 - $85,000.00 per year
