QA Automation Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This remote role will focus on building and maintaining robust automated testing coverage across web applications, APIs, and integrated systems. You will partner closely with engineers and stakeholders to define quality standards, validate releases, and help ensure reliable software delivery in a fast-paced technology environment. The position also includes performance testing and end-to-end validation to identify issues early and improve system stability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $165,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans for multiple testing types
• Define test strategies and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
• Design, develop, and execute automated test suites across diverse platforms
• Perform end-to-end testing across applications and third-party integrations
• Validate integrations of web applications and backend services
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document findings
• Execute performance testing to identify and address system bottlenecks

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in QA automation and software testing
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright
• Strong background in performance testing with tools such as Locust
• Experience validating complex web applications and APIs
• Ability to document and track software defects effectively
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for test management
• Active Secret Clearance required
