QA Automation Engineer - Is that you?

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) Experience Level: Senior Language: English (minimum B2)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements to define effective test automation strategies and coverage.

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Selenium .

• Ensure software quality through automated test execution, result analysis, and defect validation.

• Identify, report, track, and support the resolution of defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Development, Business Analysis, Product Owners, and other stakeholders in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

• Integrate automated testing into continuous delivery and continuous testing processes, ensuring reliable releases.

• Drive innovation by leveraging Artificial Intelligence solutions to optimize test design, automation efficiency, and QA processes.

• Required Skills & Experience Proven professional experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation .

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests using Selenium .

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum teams.

• Experience managing the full test and defect lifecycle, from planning to closure.

• Strong analytical skills to identify, design, and prioritize test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.

• Practical experience with Jira for requirements, task, and defect management.

• Experience using Xray for test management, execution, and reporting.

• Knowledge of Continuous Testing practices and quality engineering principles.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.

• Experience applying Artificial Intelligence solutions to test generation, requirement analysis, automation optimization, or QA process improvement.

• Fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English.

• Nice to Have;

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or higher.

• Experience delivering test automation solutions in medium or large-scale enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with additional test automation, quality engineering, or reporting tools.

• Advanced use of Artificial Intelligence tools to enhance software testing and quality assurance activities.

• Experience proposing and implementing continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

• Knowledge of modern software delivery practices and DevOps-oriented testing approaches.

• Experience working in highly collaborative Agile product development environments.
