QA Automation Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing
• Strong experience with WebDriverIO, Appium Service, JavaScript, Node.js, and Git
• Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, and CI/CD
• Experience with BrowserStack or similar cloud-based automation platforms
• Knowledge of Robot Framework, Selenium, JMeter, Appium, TestComplete, Katalon, or similar tools is an advantage
• Experience in creating and executing test cases, analyzing results, and reporting defects
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Fast learner with the ability to identify and evaluate effective solutions
• Can start ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation testing strategies and identify test cases suitable for automation
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using WebDriverIO with Appium Service
• Prepare and manage test plans and test cases using Azure DevOps
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify and troubleshoot defects
• Maintain and update automated test scripts to ensure they remain reliable and effective
• Document test cases, scripts, results, and defects
• Work closely with developers, QA team members, and stakeholders to ensure software quality
• Use automation tools to identify, isolate, and report bugs
• Stay updated on new testing tools, technologies, and best practices
• Recommend improvements to make the testing process more efficient and effective
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
