QA Automation Engineer

Location: Singapore

Contract: 1-Year Contract (Highly Renewable)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for applications and systems on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python, Selenium, API testing, performance testing, and CI/CD , with exposure to AWS and Salesforce being an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks .
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Selenium .
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing .
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Develop and execute performance/load tests using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and version-control tools.
• Identify, investigate, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain test documentation, automation reports, and testing metrics.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and overall QA processes.

Requirements

• Mandatory 5 years of experience in QA Automation / Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for test automation.
• Strong experience with Selenium and automation testing frameworks such as Pytest, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent .
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Experience with performance/load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
• Experience with CI/CD tools , particularly Jenkins.
• Good knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, or similar version-control platforms .
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and QA best practices.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments .
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Salesforce Admin tools and Salesforce Public Cloud platforms .
• Experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks .
• Experience with API automation using Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong Python and Selenium expertise, capable of building and maintaining automation frameworks and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Experience across API, performance, cloud, and Salesforce testing will be highly advantageous.
