QA Automation Engineer

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Selenium + Java + Appium + AI)

Experience: 3+ Years

Location: Ahmedabad

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Selenium-Java automation , mobile app automation and a growing understanding of AI-driven testing approaches. The candidate should be capable of designing scalable automation frameworks, integrating AI tools, and improving testing efficiency through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java for web applications.
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable test scripts.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Appium for mobile applications (Android+iOS)
• Apply AI/ML concepts to enhance test automation (self-healing scripts, predictive analysis, etc.)
• Collaborate with developers in Agile environments
• Analyze test results, and debug failures

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Java , Selenium WebDriver & Appium
• Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG or JUnit
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model)
• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience with API testing (e.g., RestAssured or Postman)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

AI/Advanced Skills (Preferred)

• Exposure to AI-based testing tools (e.g., self-healing automation tools)
• Understanding of basic Machine Learning concepts
• Experience with tools like: Test.ai, Functionize, or similar AI-driven testing platforms
• Ability to use AI for:

o Test case generation

o Defect Prediction

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python or JavaScript)

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team
