Position Overview:

**This is a maternity leave cover position and a meaningful role with real ownership and impact from day one**.

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong QA judgment and a hands-on approach to automation. As part of a Scrum team, you’ll own feature quality from requirements through delivery, working alongside talented people on cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced environment.

We care more about how you think than about which tools you’ve used. Our automation runs on three different platforms, and we don’t expect experience with all of them. We’re looking for someone who learns fast and uses AI tools to move quickly, while keeping full ownership of the quality of the result.

Responsibilities:

• Automation Development: Design, develop, and improve automated tests for new and existing features across multiple platforms.
• Automation Execution: Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and investigate failures.
• Regression Testing: Validate software changes and ensure existing functionality remains intact.
• Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and architects as an integral member of a Scrum team to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• AI Integration: Use AI tools as an integral part of daily work across test planning, automation development, execution, and investigation.

Requirements:

• Strong QA skills, including requirements analysis, test design, regression testing, and defect investigation.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests.
• Strong programming fundamentals and the ability to understand, debug, and modify code across different languages and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants, skills and agents throughout daily work, including providing context, defining tasks, and refining results.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated code and tests, identify incorrect assumptions, and independently verify correctness and test coverage.
• Familiarity with development tools, including IDEs, debuggers, Git, and command-line tools.
• Experience working as an integral member of an Agile/Scrum team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
