QA Automation Engineer - Mobile & Web Testing | Bengaluru

What this role offers:

• CTC: Rs. 9 - 14 LPA

• 5-day working week, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• 4 to 6 years of experience

About the role:

We are hiring an automation test engineer for mobile application testing, with web application testing also in scope. Candidates from either a mobile automation or a web automation background are welcome to apply. API testing experience is mandatory for this role.

Mandatory requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.

• Hands-on API testing experience. This is a must-have and will be assessed.

• Strong scripting ability in JavaScript or TypeScript (either one is fine).

• Experience in mobile application testing and / or web application testing using automation frameworks.

Good to have:

• Ability to design, write and debug automation scripts independently.

• Good understanding of test case design, defect reporting and the QA lifecycle.

• Exposure to tools such as Appium, Selenium, Postman or REST Assured.

Selection process:

1. Internal technical interview with our team.

2. A technical assignment - you will need to be comfortable writing code in JavaScript or TypeScript to complete it.

3. Final interview with the client.
