Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Playwright, Pytest, API Testing, Database Testing, and UI Automation. The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts and performing different types of testing across UI, API, backend, and database layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Playwright, and Pytest.

• Perform UI, API, backend, and database testing.

• Execute various testing types including:

• Functional Testing

• Regression Testing

• Smoke Testing

• UAT

• BAT

• Soak Testing

• Design and execute automated test scenarios and test suites.

• Perform API validation and integration testing.

• Validate backend data using MS SQL.

• Identify, analyze, and report defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.

• Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.

• Perform cross-layer validation between UI, APIs, and database.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 6–8 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.

• Good understanding of API, UI, backend, and database testing.
• Experience with JavaScript is required.
• Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing practices.
