QA Automation Engineer (TOSCA)

A Quality Engineer (QE) is responsible for ensuring that products, systems, and software meet established quality standards, perform reliably, and are free from defects. The role covers the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment, by establishing quality processes, executing test strategies, identifying defects, and driving continuous improvement.

The Quality Engineer is expected to adopt an automation-first mindset, aiming for high test automation coverage, with a target of automating up to 80% of functional requirements where feasible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca (TOSCA).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
• Monitor test automation coverage and identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for quality assurance processes, testing standards, and automation practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience in test automation
• 2+ years in Tricentis Tosca (TOSCA)
• Experience in designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
