A fast-growing space software company is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of quality within a modern, API-first platform used for satellite operations and mission-critical systems .

You’ll be working as part of a cross-functional engineering squad, focusing heavily on test automation, API quality, and system reliability in a high-impact environment.

What you’ll do

• Own QA within a product squad – working alongside engineers and DevOps
• Build and improve automated API and UI tests (TypeScript)
• Drive test automation strategy towards near 100% coverage
• Improve system quality across microservices and cloud environments
• Contribute to architecture, testing approach, and continuous improvement

Tech environment

• TypeScript / JavaScript
• API testing (Postman, Swagger)
• UI automation (Playwright / Selenium)
• AWS, microservices architecture
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), Git, Jira

What they’re looking for

• 4+ years in QA / SDET / Automation Engineering
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Proven experience in API-first testing environments
• Experience working in Agile / fast-paced product teams
• Someone hands-on who wants to build, improve and own quality
