About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join BITE ME UP CDO FOOD CORP. in a full-time capacity. This role is based in Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, and is essential to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety across our food manufacturing operations. As QA professional, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process. This position plays a critical role in protecting our brand reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, protocols, and documentation systems across manufacturing operations
• Monitor production processes to identify potential quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis using appropriate equipment and methodologies to verify product safety and quality
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all quality assurance activities, test results, and compliance audits
• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP principles and other relevant standards
• Investigate product complaints and non-conformances, determining root causes and implementing remedial actions
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and optimize manufacturing processes
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to verify adherence to quality management systems
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of enhanced quality procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 1-2 years' professional experience in quality assurance or quality control within the food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and best practices including HACCP and food hygiene principles
• Proficiency in quality control testing methods, laboratory equipment operation, and statistical analysis techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically and accurately when conducting inspections and analyses
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document findings and communicate quality concerns to relevant stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate issues systematically and implement effective solutions
• Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation software is advantageous
• Certification in HACCP, ISO 9001, or similar quality management standards is desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
