About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join VX PRECISION PRODUCTS SDN BHD in Ulu Tiram, Johor. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality within a leading precision manufacturing company.

As part of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. You will work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to drive continuous improvement, uphold the highest quality standards, and support the company’s commitment to excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and continuously improving quality assurance processes and procedures
• Conducting thorough inspections, testing and evaluations of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products to identify and resolve quality issues
• Analyzing quality data, identifying trends and making recommendations for process improvements
• Liaising with production, engineering and procurement teams to ensure quality requirements are met
• Documenting quality control activities and maintaining detailed records
• Ensuring the company's quality management system and processes comply with ISO standards and relevant industry regulations
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality best practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement quality-focused initiatives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of quality management principles, tools and techniques
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications and quality standards
• Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 (or other relevant ISO standards) implementation and compliance
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high quality standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required, as the role involves reviewing technical documentation and communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers
