QA Engineer (Aerospace)

Position: QA Engineer (Aerospace)

Reporting: QA Manager

Location SAM Precision (Thailand) Limited. Chon Buri, Ban Bueng

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Accountable for daily product quality performance. Reporting of non-conformance.
• Provide technical assistance for any product quality acceptance and Quality Management System (QMS) compliant.
• Understand blueprint and managed to interpret requirement.
• Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) team on establishing quality criteria for new products covering incoming, intermediate, and final inspection.
• Create documents e.g., Inspection Plan, First Article Inspection Report, Quality Procedure, Work Instruction, etc.
• Carry out CMM programming for inspection of parts.
• Understand and implement requirement of AS9100, customers’, or NADCAP.
• Maintain compliance of AS9100, Customer and NADCAP and certifications.
• Conduct Quality audit.
• Be a part of cross functional team for PFMEA.
• Maintain and ensure validation of calibration status of all Measurement and Testing Equipment (M&T E).
• Monitor and report on Manufacturing key performance indicators (KPI)
• Lead and Coordinate with cross functional team to solving quality problem based on 8D technical
• Support Quality Manager to manage a Quality performance of supplier.
• Establish and carryout the activity of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) when required.
• Filing of inspection report and/or Certificate of Conformance (COC).
• Follow local legislations, and company safety rules/regulations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality or Engineering job function in precision manufacturing industry. New graduates are also welcomed.
• Graduated bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Material, Industrial or Aerospace are preferred)
• Experience in QMS of ISO 9001, IATF16949, AS9100, or NADCAP is preferred.
• Proficient with CMM programmer PC-DMIS and/or Quartis is preferred.
• Strong communication skill. Native speaker of Thai, and good communication in English
• Knowledge in Quality core tools (APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP) and GD&T
• Able to use common measurement equipment such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
• Able to read, interpret and understand engineering drawing, customer specification and requirement, and other specifications.
