We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented QA Engineer Automation to join our quality assurance team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. In this role, youll be a champion for automation, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to streamline the testing process and identify potential issues early in the development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and automated test cases.

• Develop and maintain robust, reusable, and efficient automated tests using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress (depending on the technology stack).

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous quality assurance.

• Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and report bugs effectively.

• Collaborate with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot automation issues.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.

• Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes for increased efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Automation software testing with a strong focus on automation.

• In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Solid understanding of software testing principles and agile methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing).

• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.

• Proficiency with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress (a plus).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate test results and collaborate with development teams.
