QA Engineer (CMM programmer)

Position Overview

The QA Engineer will be in charge of establishing, evaluations for acceptance or rejection criteria according to customer specification. Establishing and maintaining quality management system (QMS) according to AS9100, customer requirements and 3rd parties (i.e., NADCAP) requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for daily product quality performance. Reporting of non-conformance.

• Provide technical assistance for any product quality acceptance and Quality Management System (QMS) compliant.

• Understand blueprint and managed to interpret requirement.

• Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) team on establishing quality criteria for new products covering incoming, intermediate, and final inspection.

• Create documents e.g., Inspection Plan, First Article Inspection Report, Quality Procedure, Work Instruction, etc.

• Carry out CMM programming for inspection of parts.

• Understand and implement requirement of AS9100, customers’, or NADCAP.

• Maintain compliance of AS9100, Customer and NADCAP and certifications.

• Conduct Quality audit.

• Be a part of cross functional team for PFMEA.

• Maintain and ensure validation of calibration status of all Measurement and Testing Equipment (M&T E).

• Support Quality Manager to manage a Quality performance of supplier.

• Establish and carryout the activity of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) when required.

• Filing of inspection report and/or Certificate of Conformance (COC).

• Follow local legislations, and company safety rules/regulations.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Thai Nationality

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality or Engineering job function in precision manufacturing industry. New graduates are also welcomed.

• Graduated Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Material, Industrial or Aerospace are preferred)

• Experience in QMS of ISO 9001, AS9100, or NADCAP is preferred.

• Proficient with CMM programme PC-DMIS or MODUS is preferred.

• Strong communication skill. Native speaker of Thai, and Good communication in English (TOEIC 500 and above)

• Must be able to pass vision acuity examination with or without corrective lenses and vision requirement for colour-blindness.

• Able to use common measurement equipment such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.

• Able to interpret technical drawings.

• Able to read, interpret and understand engineering drawing, customer specification and requirement, and other specifications.

• Good attitude and always have safety mind.

• Be able to work under pressure.
