Must-Have Skills:

• Web Automation Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress

• Test Frameworks Mocha, Jest, TestNG / JUnit, or PyTest
• API Testing – Postman and REST Assured / Supertest
• Git / GitHub
• CI/CD – GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Test Automation Framework Design
• Page Object Model (POM)
• Locators, Waits, Assertions, and Reusable Test Architecture
• Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End Testing

Working Knowledge Required:

• Functional and Exploratory Testing
• API Request/Response Validation
• Status Codes, Payload Validation, and API Contract Testing
• Test Reporting – Allure Report, Mochawesome, or Similar Tools
• Jira – Bug Tracking and Defect Lifecycle Management
• Test Case Documentation and Requirement Traceability
• Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Testing
• Writing Clear, Reproducible Bug Reports
• Sprint Planning, Feature Reviews, and Acceptance Criteria Validation

Good to Have:

• Mobile Automation – Appium
• Android and iOS Testing
• Espresso or XCUITest
• BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
• Performance Testing – JMeter or k6
• Basic SQL and PostgreSQL
• React and shadcn/ui Familiarity
• Multi-tenant SaaS Product Testing
• ERP / CRM Testing Experience
• Tana or Similar Documentation Tools

Requirements:

• 1+ years of professional experience in Software Testing or QA Automation
• Strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining automated test suites
• Ability to write clean, reusable automation code, not just recorded scripts
• Comfortable setting up automation frameworks from scratch
• Strong understanding of Web, API, and preferably Mobile Testing
• Ability to independently identify edge cases, risks, and regressions
• Strong ownership of product quality and test coverage
• Clear written communication for bug reports and test documentation
• Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to perform manual and exploratory testing where automation is not practical
• Ability to prioritize critical release testing versus lower-risk test coverage
