QA Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a QA Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on ensuring software quality across web and application platforms through structured testing and validation. You will play a key part in executing UAT, documenting defects, and confirming that releases meet business requirements and acceptance criteria. The position requires close collaboration with developers and stakeholders to support a smooth, high-quality delivery process.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $165,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business requirements
• Perform software QA testing on web and application platforms
• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Identify and document software defects, and track their resolution
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders throughout testing cycles
• Validate fixes and complete regression testing prior to software release
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and acceptance criteria

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance engineering
• Strong understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) practices
• Proven background in Software Quality Assurance (SW QA)
• Ability to create detailed test cases from business requirements
• Experience in defect identification and documentation
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Active Secret Clearance required for the role
