What they need
We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in automation testing using Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to modern test automation frameworks and be comfortable working in agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Execute manual test cases where automation is not feasible
- Ensure high-quality releases by validating requirements and acceptance criteria
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Playwright automation framework
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
- Experience in API testing (Postman / REST APIs)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience with version control systems like Git
