QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios aligned with project requirements.
• Execute manual testing activities and validate application functionality and business workflows.
• Perform various testing types including Smoke, Sanity, Functional, Regression, Non-Functional, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct API testing and validate integrations, request/response data, and system behavior.
• Develop, maintain, and execute API automation test scripts and frameworks.
• Perform database validation and data integrity testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality and timely issue resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality assurance feedback.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Adhere to QA processes, standards, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Exposure to performance testing concepts and tools.

• Relevant Software Testing or Quality Assurance certifications.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
