Up to £45,000 + Annual Bonus

CPS Group are supporting a Financial Services organisation experiencing recent growth , who are looking to add an experienced QA Engineer to their team.

This is a hands-on position where you'll take ownership of testing throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality from requirements through to release.

The Role:

• Own the testing approach for features from requirements through to production.
• Design and maintain automated tests across UI, API and integration layers.
• Work with Playwright or WebdriverIO , alongside Cucumber/BDD.
• Carry out manual, automated, API, integration and exploratory testing.
• Use SQL to query relational databases and support test data requirements.
• Identify risks, dependencies and potential issues early in the development process.
• Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing.
• Contribute to improvements across QA processes and testing standards.
• Support and mentor junior members of the QA team.

Essential Experience:

• Strong commercial experience across both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or WebdriverIO .
• Experience with Cucumber or another BDD framework .
• Working knowledge of Java or JavaScript/TypeScript .
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Solid API testing experience.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines .
• Experience taking ownership of testing for features through to quality sign-off.
• Performance testing experience.
• AWS or other cloud experience.
